Default Practicing the basics sans snow

been thinking about practicing some ground tricks since i can't get up to the mountain for a while. any of you ever try this without snow (grass, maybe with a plastic tarp etc)? any potential damage done?

It works really well on the carpet. Gives u a chance to flex ur board and become comfortable with it. When I first got into boxes and rails I built this little box and put carpet on it and it defenitly helped me learn how to land in the right position.

Gotta agree with Tech on this. Carpet boarding is awesome when you can't hit the slopes. The only thing to keep in mind is that the carpet eats wax like crazy, so you'll want to wax your board before you actually hit the slopes.
