skate banana and what bindings ?

I am going to get a lib tech skate banana 156

6'1" 190lbs. 10.5 boot

what bindings are best ( $ 400 limit )

the guy at my local shop said that you definitely lose some control with FLOWS, and if you don't mind strapping in, go with straps.

he specifically said go with convertible/toe straps because they are more responsive, do you guys agree?

he also said the best binding to be paired with the banana would be burton c60 or p90s, any and all feedback please, looking to purchase by sunday at the latest

thanks

the guy lied about flows 100%, i will guarantee if you get NXTs you will not be upset.

and if he suggested c60s then hes a completely incompetent retart. if any burtons it would be the p1s im assuming thats what you meant when you said p90 because theirs no such thing.
the c60 is the most responsive binding, and not your typical freestyle binding.

i promise you you wont be upset with NXTs and you lose no response at all, you actually gain heelside response. but if i was picking a 2 strap binding i would go with Union data or contacts, burton P1s arent bad either, or rome 390s which are probably my favrite

Nothing beats Rome IMO. For flex go for the 390's. For response and all mountain riding, the Targas.

Ive just never been a fan of the flows myself.

EDIT: If I was you, if you decide on the flows or not, I would wait 2-3 weeks and head over to sierrasnowboards.com and hit up their 50% off sale. I picked up most of my stuff last season mid-late February all for 50% off.

i saw some nxt at in black for 269 at rei

and

nxt at red/white for 188

on the flow.com site it says the fs are slightly more for freestyle and the at are freestyle/light mountain

and nobody has the fs in stock in chicago area

anyone tried them both, what is the difference?

thanks

the difference is the 3 piece high back for the FS and i think the strap is a tad softer. the AT is the most common one by far and most places dont even stock the FS's. i wear FS's and i like em they are still a great all mt binding.

and sierra already had there closeout sale and everything sold out within 4 hours pretty much
