board size advice

Hi all,

Here is some basic info of myself:

185cm (about 6'1") currently 175lb (I was 185 last winter, and I am plan to gain some muscle back, and hope I can be around 180-185, but fit)

I mostly ride northeast (NY and VT), consider myself intermediate. I can ride done well on black with my regular but my switch is very struggling on bunny hill. I am also a very beginner at park, I may hit park couple laps, but only do some small box and small jump. Still working on my carve, switch, nose & tail press, ollie and 180. I dont think I will go into park very often, most time I may just stay at normal trail.

My previous board is a 158 revolver, I got it when I was 185 and with 11.5 boots(thats why I got the wide, I have down size to 10.5).

I just purchased a 162 TRS couple weeks ago, but was wondering if it is a bit too big for me. should I get a smaller one(159)? the riding on the 162 board is fine, I can feel more stable than before, the press is a little bit difficulty than before, but not a big deal, I still cannot ollie or jumo very well, so I dont have comment on both of them.

Please let me know if there is still any more info to make suggestion about the size. Thanks in advance.

Im about your weight and I think I would have even gone down to a 157 for an all mountain freestyle ride. Its generally personally preference but seems a little on the large side for you.

I am 5'11'' and about 175 with a size 11 shoe.

I ride a 160 or 161 almost always. However, I prefer straight line riding, big hill, fast... not a big park rider.

Yeah I'm 175-180 lb and regularly ride a 160, have a 165 and 166 in my board lineup that I like. Have a 156 that I never use because it feels too short :D
