Buying a helmet just a quick question - Snowboarding Forum

hey, so im thinking about getting a helmet, after catching a few edges spinning backside and some close calls on a handrail i think it'd be a wise idea. The thing is the only deal going on around me right now is buy one get one half off, which is ridiculous to begin with, who needs two helmets? but luckily my buddy said he'd pick one up too so all's well. im just wondering if 25% off is about as good as its going to get as far as late season discounts or how much you guys would anticipate them going down.

If you are not picky about the style of helmet, watch steep and cheap, tramdock, or whiskey militia to roll one across for cheap.

Lol, I decided to get a helmet for the same excact reason. Yeah, I would say that your not going to get a much better deal than 25%, but you should look around the web first because there are some good deals to be found.

You never have to wait very long. It's clogged with watches, sunglasses, and Marmot brand crap, but a helmet comes up every day or so.

yeah i watch whiskey militia and tram dock like a hawk but im not down for the bicycle style helmets or such id rather go with a bern with the brim and ept or whatever that protective foam is.
okay good to know i just didnt want to grab one and then they go down to 50%
