But I'm looking for a dedicated freeride set up. I absolutely love my Bataleon, but it's just not cutting the mustard for the dedicated freeride trips. I demoed an 08 Feelgood ES, however, no matter which way I try to crumble the cookie, I just can't justify the cost for that deck. Anyway, if you guys could list off as many freeride decks that float around in the same category as the Feelgood Es in terms of freeride capabilities...that would be rad. Thanks!

I haven't demoed any boards in a few years, but when I did I decided on a Rome Design. I wouldn't go back. It works great for me even though I'm sure I don't ride nearly the kind of stuff you do. It's got great response, but it's super light so it doesn't wear me down riding in deep powder.

I've got a few Never Summer freeride boards that I think are the cat's ass, but they're not cheap either. *edit* Just noticed your sig, so you already seem to be an NS fan. Is it a financial thing that's making you look to other brands? Last edited by gibbous; 02-01-2009 at 01:19 AM. |

The Feelgood ES is rad, but I don't know if really is worth the $800 for it. So I guess you could kind-of say it's a financial thing. Markee, I have the Distortia, I love it, but I really really want an aggressive freeride only board. |
