Did I get my fiance the wrong size board?

My fiance's measurements:

Size 6 Boot
Weight: ~125lbs
Height: 5'5"

We're both beginners.

I ordered a K2 Bright Lite 142 which K2's chart shows as supporting a range weight of 90-160lbs.

Would the 146 have been a safer choice? Some online calculators seem to hover around the 145 size when I enter her stats, but I went with K2's chart and a smaller size in her range because of her small feet (not sure if that's correct or not).

Also, any general thoughts on the board itself? I believe it's the successor to the Lunatique model and seems to be well-regarded as a beginner/intermediate board.

Don't lose any sleep, that board is fine.

Beginner = shorter board = easier to turn

When you advance a bit, you'll notice at higher speeds that the board you're riding begins to lack stability. You'll know immediately as you'll feel it chatter under your feet.

At that point, you'll want to hop on something a bit stiffer/longer so that you can keep crushing it.

Good luck!

Looks fine to me, I ride a Lunatique 146 and I'm 140lbs, so the length is right on target for her.

Yeah, she's dead centre of the weight range for the board, that's the right choice! :D
