Need a Quick Answer re: Roxy snowboards
I know that Quiksilver owns Mervin, which owns all Gnu/Lib/Roxy brands. Dogfunk live-chat-guy says that Mervin makes Gnu/Lib "near Canada," while Roxys are now made overseas. He said that they all share technology like MTX/BTX, but is positive that the Roxy has a full wrap edge.
Does the Roxy have a full wrap edge, or does the edge end before the tips like on Gnu/Libs? Does anyone know for sure? I need to know ASAP, so thanks in advance! |
My gf's roxy sillouette doesn't have fully wrapped edges.

In case anybody cares, I emailed customer service at Sierra Snowboard, and they also confirmed that the Roxy Ally has a full wrap edge. I'm assuming their other top-of-the-line boards would too, like the more expensive Envi MTX, Eminence MTX, and Eminence BTX.

Yea i think your safe, looking at some pictures on Shayboarders site looks like the Eminence atleast has a fully wrapped edge so chances are that will..

So, while shopping for a board for the gf, I had narrowed down the choices to the Arbor Push, Arbor Eden, and Roxy Ally MTX. With Sierra's 40% off deal on all 2009 boards, how could I resist? Well, I did...lol. Found a killer deal on an '09 Bataleon Violenza, so ordered that instead.
