Better all mtn board?

Intermediate rider looking to pick up new board. Like title says I am looking for a good all mtn board and have narrowed it down to the 2009 Burton Custom or the Lib tech trs mtx. I have riden magne before and liked it, but don't necessarily need it.

If you had your choice which would you choose and why?

Have you looked at the bataleon Riot? There are several reviews on the forum,

Ive heard it's an amazing board, Really fast snappy board thatll make you soar through the powder. Good for big jumps, carving, a bit stiffer for rails... Have a look at it.

I think I would choose mtx over the custom although.

i would probably go custom over the mtx, if you just wanted mtx not btx. the Travis Rice is a sick deck though..

Bataleon has its own TBT(triple base tech) technology. I have heard it's prefered over MTX.

Thanks for all the responses. Ended up going with the Lib Tech, got it for $315 out the door Mounted my Cartels and hit the slopes today, and after riding it i'm sure i made the right choice, awesome board.

To be honest I don't see why people bash the tnt base, it held up very well under very icy conditions with no real markings at all. And it is definitely not slow, I was passing people left and right

i remember the TNT base on my TRS. while it wasnt sluggish, it was
definately slower than some of my friends boards. and i remember
that it was really really soft(to me atleast). i would ride over
a few rocks on accident and check my base at the bottom of the hill
and i would find gashes and rocks stuck between the base material
and the edges. but other than that i loved my TRS.

no.
