155 or 158?

Buying a NS proto HDX. I could get a 155 local or order a 158 and have it sent here in a few days. Which should I go for considering my heigh/weight? 6'1 190lbs.

I ask because the longer contact area from the blunted tips would make a 155 ride more like a 157 no? And a 158 ride more like a 160?

Just my opinion.. but I think based on your weight I would go 158

158 for sure

Depending on how you ride, it's possible you need/want a 161. Definitely not a 155...

longer than shorter

158 it is. I couldn't go bigger. Every time I've been on a 160 rental board it's felt like a POS plank. 155 always feels like a bunch of fun. 158 should be good.

It really depends on how you ride whether you want a longer or slightly shorter board. But 155 is definitely too short for your height. I only ride mountain so I use ~156 even though I am only 5'9".

The 158 will ride like a 160/161.. Just food for thought.

Remember this board has a blunted tip and tail and look closely at the edges contact points.

Yep. I'm on a cobra 161, also blunted, at about 6'0/200 lbs. Love it, can't see any reason for me to go shorter. Course I'm never in the park...
