Hey guys stratton, Vt had a Burton Festival this weekend and it was free demos. I decided i wanted to try the nug being size difference from a normal board.
What a GREAT board. it is so much fun because it is so small. I still had control going higher speeds on the groomers and was pretty comfortable on some of the medium jumps.
The only problem is the look. I know, don't care what other think. My friend mentioned that it looked like i was riding a board from when i was 10 or something. I kind of agree. Has that stopped any of you from buying/riding one?:
no it hasn't.
who cares what other people think?
I think that's what's so cool about the nug. You see it and wonder how the hell could it be rideable. If I can find one at a good price during the year end firesales, I may pick one up.
Take it to a vinyl sticker store and have them put a black top sheet on it. Problem solved. :yahoo:
I just googled: custom vinyl top sheet snowboard. And a few sites showed up that you can buy top sheets from. Looks like they cost around $60. Not bad if you ask me.
