2009 K2 Auto's Recall? - Snowboarding Forum

My local shop says there's a recall on the 2009 K2 Auto's. Anyone know if this is true?

thanks, that's what i thought. gonna return the union contacts and get the k2 auto's instead for the horrorscope

I have the k2 auto's. I kind of wished I got the Auto Evers, since they have that heel cup/high back gap deletion technology (still not quite sure how it works since their website sucks at giving you an in-depth look). Anyhow, the Auto's are nice and light, very very comfortable, and very well made. I haven't ridden a ton so I'll do a more in-depth review later. My one complaint so far is that it's still not that easy for me to just step out of them. I set it up to fit my boot perfect , so the toe strap doesn't really pull far enough away for me to be able to just step out.

Well I want the autos because they don't have a high back which is far better for jibbing. I tried my burton customs with the horrorscope and it was definitely heavy and stiff.
