Is this repairable?

Gave the board to Delta in normal condition this morning, then hopped on the plane.
Got off the plane and got the board back this afternoon looking like this:

This looks pretty... dead - but figured i'd ask the experts here before trying to find a shop that might be able to do it near ATL / TN.

[Edit / Update]: Delta reviewed everything and totally stepped up - covered the cost of the board! Whew!!! Good customer care by Delta in this case

Assuming you had it packaged correctly, Delta owes you a new snowboard bro.

Thanks for the quick feedback - I'm going to see if I can get Delta to reimburse me...

Call and complain. You can probably get flight or atleast baggage fees reversed, and they definetly will replace the item.

Or, just go through the proper channels being understanding and polite first and see how that goes. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Those people are quite used to people calling and bitching at them. You'd be surprised what a bit of genuine politeness and understanding can get you sometimes when you're dealing with people who are accustomed to seeing people at their worst.

From my understanding airlines have never repaired this shit or replace it.
You can try to file a claim but i wouldn't get my hopes up.
TO be honest with my bag you could drive over it and nothing would happen to my board still. That's why i got that bag.
It's the same with golf clubs, if i just throw duct tape onto my golf bag and expect my driver to make it the whole way i'm fucking dreaming.

It sucks, but good luck

As far as you did not open a claim ON airport just after getting your snowboard back you propobly will win nothing.
