burton channel rivets

Hey there,

I bought a used custom x, circa 2009 (first year to release ICS/Channel). It didn't come with the rivets. I borrowed the rivets from my friend's sherlock only to find that they don't slide through. Has ICS been updated?

In any case, where can I find the rivets for my channel board, I think I need four of them.

Call Burton rider services...they are usually very helpful in situations like this and will probably send you what you need. Here is the number: (800) 881-3138

Yes, at some point they were changed slightly. I bought a used 2011 board and it didn't come with the inserts. I just went to a local board shop and they dug through their miscellaneous pieces until they found the right ones. They just gave them to me for free though I offered to give them a few bucks.

I believe what you need is a Burton M5 Hardware kit for pre-2011 Channel boards. Kenai's suggestion is likely your best bet if you have a local board shop nearby. Otherwise, try calling rider services as I suggested. As a last resort, it looks like if you do a google search you can find them for $15 - $20 or so on Ebay or amazon or fixmybinding.com

Good luck!
