Ah well...
I'm new to the art of snowboarding, tried it for about 3 days in sweden and I got hooked on it. So ofcouse I decided to start. As you see, I'm new and have no idea of where to start, so I thought this just might be a good place to start out. I've read all the threads about gear and boards for the new, but still it gives me a cupple of questions unanswered. The biggest one is what board I should go for. I saw in one of the threads the following are important if I'd like any help at all: Sex - Male Weight - 70kg = 154 Ibs Boot size - 44-45 Europe = 10½ 11½ Riding style - Not sure, but I like freeriding and freestyle. When I was on that 3 days in sweden, I spend most of my time on the jumps. Age - 17 years old. budget - 350€ = 450 USD$ Your location of riding - Sweden, Norway and Austria I quickly found that manoeuvrability is an important fact for me, as I don't like those big heavy boards, which is hard to controle. Also the board needs to be designed for jumps. Any recommends? K2 seems to have some nice ones, but have NO idea what to pick, as I don't want to make a foolish decision. Best Regards Martin Btw: Sorry for my poor english. Live in Denmark, so don't judge. |
