Hi Guys.

Just wondering if the flaw pictured is worth worrying about. It's a brand new board.

Thanks!

Hey Dawg Catcher!

Thanks for the reply. I sent off an email asking the shop about the crater and we'll see what comes of it. I would hate to go through the hassle of returning it as I am presently boardless - except for a burton love with a nekkid chick on it which haven't got the balls to ride.

Seems like a big flaw when the stickers on the board crow about the quality control. I'm sure I'll ding it enough the first time I ride it though...

Thanks again!

Honestly it looks like a flaw in manufacturing, almost like the base material didnt fill in properly.
More than likely some douch at the shipping office jammed something through the box it came in.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!! No I just thought it was a cool piece of kitsch and gear rolled into one. I got it for just over $220 new which is like getting a guitar pedal so not a huge deal. This snowboarding thing is much cheaper than playing and collecting guitars/amps/pedals.

And the love boards are much tamer than the sims boards with the pornstars from years past. Those have gotten crazy prices on ebay...

I have to stop buying boards...

I just got an evil twin as well and personally i would not be happy about that little mark. I don't think i would go through the hassle of returning it (assuming it was mailed to you) but would definitely demand some type of compensation. Now if you bought it in a store and they have another one, then raise some hell and get the un-marked one.

Otherwise that little mark will be filled in by a fresh hot wax job ;) .
