My bf is looking for a new board, he want something rockered and I want to get it for him for a V-day present. So quick run down
5'7" 170lbs boot size 9.5 ride style: 80% groomers 10% park 10% off piste/BC he really wants a rockered board, he hardly ever rides park, but ventures in there doing the kicker/rail occasionally. he also will do the natural booter and some jibs (stumps and other natural shit) he wants something pretty flexy i would say on the noodle side although i dont think this would suite his needs. He wants to stay away from lib/gnu (guess this is where i developed that from) I really want to get him a board for V-day seeing as we have been together for 3 yrs. I am leaning towards the K2 WWW or turbo dream. He has been riding for the past two years I got him into the sport and would say he is an intermediate rider. His style is sort of beginner'ish but closer towards intermediate. So I guess as much as you may hate me, love me for two min and give me some suggestions. Price is not an option only criteria is 09 board, must be rockered, and no lib/gnu not that it makes much of a difference but every little thing counts so for this board a set of 09 nxt ats and 32 STWs are pairing with it, please no commment about the boot/binding as these will not change.

First off, die in a fire..
![]() ![]() Now that we have gotten this thread started in the proper manner..maybe a NS SL-R? Granted its not a noodle, but you dont take noodles all mountain either. Or maybe the Evo-R would fit him better. By all accounts NS's rocker tech is "the way", evidenced by the fact Lib Tech is copying it for 2010 "Power Banana". I dont think you will find one person who has a bad thing to say about the Evo-R or SL-R, well except those that are just dead set against rocker to begin with.

jesus fucking christ i hate you douche 2 but i would credit you for the evo-r reccomnedation if my friend arsenic had not alredy. still some day i may love you on the interwebz till then you stay out but everyone else give some suggestions. I was leaning towards the K2 WWW and turbo dream because he has been talking about them alot, although like mentioned i think the WWW wont suite him. I want to get him one of these two boards cause he has been talking about them although i would rather much get him a board that he will be blown away with performance wise, so please any input is needed.

Oh yea im not sure if your in the Couv, i can only assume this is the shithole of Washington you speak of...you may want to check out a local shop in Portland on Sandy that sells NS boards, they have the Evo-R for 387..they only show 161 left size wise though so i'd call to see if they have a 155 in store.
Never Summer Evo Snowboard - Mens I dont think the K2 WWW will suite him, not familiar at all with the other board...you women are good at dropping hints...im sure you can convince him...

OK I don't know shit and you've helped me (thanks!) on my evil twin question, but are bataleons out of the question? Supposedly they're great riding boards - whether they're rocker boards well you know better than I - isn't the TBT base rockerish?

Think of TBT and taking the edges and curling them up as you go down the board towards the tips... Rocker(NS Rocker) is flat in the middle and the board itself bows upward towards the tips

from my understanding TBT is concave across the width of the board, where as rockers are concave the length of the board. I am new to this choosing a male board and seeing as most tech side is always on the male side and then slowly trickled down towards the fem side i cant say. all i know is he wants something rockerd and has been hinting at the two aforementioned K2 boards, so anyting better then them/ any problems with getting the turbo dream thats what i am leaning towards.
