Ride beta vs Ride alpha - Snowboarding Forum

As I allready know , most of you will tell me the aplha isn't worth the price over the beta. But what if the alpha happened to be cheaper in the shop I'm buying it. Would you still recommend the beta over the alpha ? I'm in serious doubt over these 2

My board has been ordered , now I still need to cut the cord on those damn bindings ..

They are almost exactly the same except for the ankle strap. Go try them on and see which ankle strap you like better.

alpha has a lighter highback, ankle strap, and toe strap

Some other guys told me the alpha is stiffer and therefor not as easy to ride , is that true ?
