Default 390 vs. custom

Im pretty new to snowboarding and i would like to get bindings, i purchased a rome artifact 153 online. i was wondering what binding would be great for a newbie like me. im starting out just going down hill and learning to turn and stop, then maybe ill try to do jumps after i learn the basics. what would be the best bindings for me? im leaning towards the 390 just becuase it would match the board (really newbie!) thanks!

i have some 390s, and they are incredibly responsive and have great flex to them
Very comfortable and extremely customizable.
They are more aimed toward park so you may want to go with the customs if you dont ride park

Indeed custom's toe straps sucks. I changed mine for 390s aswell! And what an improvement it is.

Customs aren't that bad. The Rome 390s and the customs are in different price ranges. The romes are higher end than the customs. If you're just starting out I would recommend something simpler since 390s have more adjustability than a beginner would need. If you really want to save some money on the long run get the 390s IMO Ithey are the better binding out of the two.
