Hey Carly15:

First off, welcome to the forum. Great to see another female onboard and I hope the "bad boys" here don't scare you away. They really are harmless and most of them have an extensive amount knowledge and experience.

With regards to your new board selection: I have a daughter who is very similar to you and her board progression has been as follows:

Atomic Fallen Angel 148
Burton Feelgood Flying V 152
Jones Moutain Twin 154 ( yes, a guys board )

We ride East Coast and she now loves the Jones. After getting on it she realized how much the Burton "flapped" around when getting up to speed. She feels soooooo much more stable on the Jones as it is a noticeably stiffer board.

We have moved her bindings well back on the Feelgood and she now uses it as her Powder deck.

Unless you have your mind set on only riding a women's board, I would suggest you look into some guy's decks in your size. If you do, you have a brand new world out there to consider.

Good Luck

Get it. Wax it. Ride it.

Hi and welcome.

I've not ridden either so can't help you there. I recall the Swoon has been mentioned around here with positive comments, might want to do a search on it, or both. Also, this review may help in your decision 2014 Arbor Swoon Snowboard Used and Reviewed «
