Help on Jones Mountain Twin
So, I purchased my first snowboard, Jones Mountain Twin. Using the reference points, the stance is set-back. Is it okay to move both bindings toward the tip, to get a more centered stance? Is it okay to move the back foot up two sets of holes, and the front foot up one? There are many different opinions on this, so I was hoping to get some feedback on it. Thanks.

I don't know that board specifically but I doubt a small change like that would matter.

You can center it if you want. It wont feel like a true twin but I doubt you'll notice much.

it matters on certain boards more than others, particularly on boards with significant setback due to how the sidecut will get engaged.

On my NS SL, I rode it centered according to the board length for much of its life, when I rode it centered according to the binding inserts (which puts it in a setback stance), I would find my back leg would kick out of a carve much more...a bad thing. Though somewhat odd since I thought it was originally designed for setback riding.

For me, it can turn the riding experience from awesome to complete shit and vice versa.

Referens stance in the back is a (FSC ) that" is the stance for the back freestyle stance ! The front just apply how many inches will U like to have for stance ( 22 eller 23 ) inches ! But try diferent stance till your find the good one ! Ride it for a day ! Not 2 turns and change ! Remember the board is set back 2 cm from the entire board shape side cut . My friends said at all set back boards ! Just move the front binding ! Not the back ! and it works ! Or just put the bindings over the board no screws ( and check how the board looks good ) a profecional rider from lib tech told me that !!! :) they dont use references stance jajaja !!!
