There's also the LibTech Cygnus X1 and the Ride TMS UL that are super light weight boards. I feel like there's one we're missing though that is in that same class...
In terms of the Rome Agent, it's light but it's not at the same level as the others that are designed specifically to be super light. What are you trying to do with this ultra light board? Most of them are designed to just basically go really, really fast and that's it...

hmmmm..so super light boards like the arbor and the libtech wont be very good at the park, like rails and and all that? thats where im kinda confused. i guess what im getting at, is im looking for a really light board thats really good for the park as well. and maybe the agent is the board for me then. unless the arbor is good for that or better. i mean, i know im being anal, but if im gonna spend 500 bucks i wanna make sure im getting the best for my money lol. u guys are being so helpful tho

I don't think I am wrong here, light boards are not really designed to go fast. They'll chatter out when you really get up to speed. A more burly board is what you are going to want.

Most of the light boards seem to have the function of being a backcountry freeride board or park applications. At least that is how I have read into it. I just can't see one of the light boards being something I want to take down a steep groomer at speed. I am planning on going to the dealer demo days at Loveland this year, I'll make it a point to take a Vapor out if it's available.

Hm...well if you want to do mainly jumps and rails go with a freestyle type of board. But, then when you get to freestyle boards if you want to be doing mainly rails go with more of a jib board but if you want some air too just go with an all around freestyle board...when it comes to brands it really is a matter of picking a good brand (there are many; Rome, Never Summer, Atomic, Burton, Lib Tech, etc.) and going with one of their boards that fit your budget and you think look kool!! Oh, and of course make sure it is your size too ;) Hope that helps some... :)
