Snowboard to buy for CASI Level 2
So, I just broke my second YES Basic 156 (the latter a warranty one), and am fed up with them. So, I ask, what should my next snowboard be? I have two weeks before I take my Level 2 exam, and would like a snowboard that would enable me to complete this.
I really liked my Basic, and would like a similar kinda deal, with the centred stance and the twin-directional, but still with the all-mountain-ness.
I've looked at the Rome Agents, both cambered and rockered, a few Lib-Techs (the TRS and the Hotknife etc), the Ride Highlife, Never Summer Premier and a bunch others.
I guess the general idea is aggressive riding: steeps and trees and drops and speed and such (and powder - duh); I'm not so keen on my rails and boxes and friends, but the bigger booters the better.
Any advice would be awesome!
I said the same thing as you when I went to look for a board this year. Riding fast over natural terrain with some kickers tossed in for good measure. If you would fancy a true-twin, I'd say the NS Ripsaw for sure. I would say it's perfect for what you're asking for, minus the directional bit.
Some great board suggestions +++, add to the list Rossi JibSaw best board hands down for the $$$ and fits your snowboarding profile.
Thanks for the input guys!
I have a friend with an Assassin that I can borrow, and from some research, those other two look pretty damn good too.
Tough decisions ahead!
