What board???

I'm just beginning to board, but I totally love it!!! I'm looking into getting a board, but can't find the perfect one. Right now I'm between the forum seeker and burton clash. I'm not the greatest yet, but I'm progressing pretty quickly I think. I don't want to get a true beginner board because I want it to last me awhile, so I'm just kinda lost. Also, my wallet is limited...any suggestions will help. Thanks a lot.

Check out the GNU Rider's Choice. They're on sale pretty much everywhere that has them right now and it's a really solid choice for a first board that you'd like to keep for a while.

I'm 5'10, weigh 145 lbs, and have a 10.5 boot size. I don't really want to spend more than $300 on a board, but I could probably go 350 or 400. The seeker was on sale for $250(perfect price) on a website I found, and I really liked it, but I thought it might be too stiff for me as well. So, that kinda brought me to this point.

seeker is like a 7/10 on their flex scale... if anything I would suggest the destroyer or maybe youngblood.

Burton Snowboard Burton Custom Snowboard
Burton Snowboard Burton Farm Second Snowboard
Capita Snowboard Capita Scaremaster Snowboard

those will all be solid boards. the scaremaster is the softest, and will be a good park board you can take anywhere. the farm is a midwide designed around a 10.5, i used the older model and loved it. its an all mt freestyle board. the custom is a legend, it will be good for anything you want it to do..

ive rode a seeker and it didnt feel that stiff to me...but eh i was drinkin..

Capita Scaremaster Wide 152 (25.7 waist)
Capita Stairmaster Wide 152 (exactly the same as the Scaremaster)

rides slightly longer because of the slightly longer effective edge

you could also go with a regular width, depending on the specific boot
