I want somethin fun to just mess around with as well as hit the park or jib. I've been checking out the Rome Artifact and Burton Fix. Any other suggetions.

Fix is pretty stiff iirc.
The Rome artifact is a hella jib noodle along with the Ride Kink
a stiffer but still pretty flexy board is the Rome Agent which is a good choice for an all mountain freestyle stick

tried the fix, liked it, very easy to butter and it holds good edge on groomers, did not find it stiff at all

the fix is the stiffest "park" board ive ever touched...i wouldnt say its buttery at all...


if you want a pure jib board then hears the Jmac list.

1) bataleon airbobic
2) k2 www
3) rome artifact

the bataleon is easily the best out of the three, its softer, pops more, and catches edges less. those are the 3 biggest things for park, soo..the stairmaster is great, i love mine, but if your looking for a noodle its not it. if you like jumping and rails then it is the best board out. neither of the 3 i mentioned earlier are that great on jumps. they are actually really bad for jumping.

k2 WWW is reall really felx and GREAT fun!! artifact is really good 2, the capita scare/stairmaster, id go for one of these

I would generally agree, that is why a directional of whatever brand would be better (not perfect) due to the fact that a directional will have a stiffer tail which makes it more suited for landings off man made booters, step ups, step downs etc. Park and pipe playfulness with a stiffer tail means a more stable platform for tail first landings. = D. twin
