What's up with pro snowboarders always sticking their boards in the camera's face?

After they do a run, they will always stick their board right into the camera obscuring your view of them. I get it, they need to satisfy their sponsers but seriously? I was watching a US Olympic team qualifier and one kid names Brandon something stuck his board in the camera's face for so long that the cameraman actually had to move around to get to him. It was funny. But I really hate it when they do this cause I can see it just fine from where they have it in their hands and I can see their faces vs my tv screen being covered by a snowboard covered with neff and rockstar and Oakley stickers. It's not a big deal, but it's basically my only pet peeve.

If you understood this, why make the thread? This is exactly why they do it and the sponsors pay their bills. It's generally a good idea to keep the check signers happy no matter what you do for a living.
