Hey everyone,
need some opinions on a setup for my gf. She will be riding all-mountain, little park at this stage i believe, she hasn't boarded for about 6yrs, so im saying she is a beginner, howvere she can still hold her own on a skater. Ive got her boots, after trying on amples as she has a very unique shape foot lol, and came up with the Salomon "Kiana". My next step is board and bindings originally i was just going to get her a brtn feather/citizen bindings. but i want her to be able to keep the combo for a while, and not have rubbish. My local has a Roxy Eminence board that i was thinking through some K2 Auto Agogo bindings, (she currently has the union milans that we got in a sale, but they have been claimed by her sis). From what ive heard the bindings are good, can anyone enlighten me more with these? As for the board, i am lead to believe that the eminence is a good board, for all mountain. My only question is, is the magnatraction going to make it hard for her to learn, having all the extra edges, or can i de-tune them to suit?? she is a 120lbs(according to google conversion = 55kg) so 146 seems about right? if this board is going to give her a hard time re-learning the ropes, what is the roxy sugar like. cheers for any help |

mtx is not bad to learn on at all. good for the ice. im personally not a fan of roxy boards. i have a never summer infinity-r, which i love. i ride all mountain and am starting to get into the park, its great. for bindings i use the mens union force, which i also like a lot.
