Roxy XOXO or Banana Smoothie?

Hi All!

Need some help choosing between the Roxy XOXO PBTX and Roxy Banana Smoothie EC2 BTX.

I'm 5'6", 125 pounds, planning on getting the 146cm in either. Riding blue runs comfortably, starting to play around in the park, crazy speeds are not as much my thing! Upgrading from a really basic board so pretty sure either will be great.

XOXO is a Rocker profile, Asymetric twin
Banana Smoothie is a Camber/Rocker/Camber profile, True twin

Planning to get the Burton Lexa bindings.

Love both graphics so I'm torn! Any help would be amazing. Thanks!

Kim

My daughter rode the Banana Smoothie with Lexa bindings this season. She loves it for park and pipe and even raced Boardercross on it.

Thanks - Banana Smoothie was my first preference.

I'll check out the Trilogy - any reason why you've said ditch the Burton 24WERD?

Not sure why the comment about ditching Burton... I've had both Burton and Union and they're both quality brands. Personally I prefer the Burton, but that's only because I also have Burton boots, and they fit together so perfectly.

I agree, XOXO is better for park but the banana smoothie is also real good. The rocker on the XOXO will be easier to initiate turns with the asym sidecuts and rocker so it's good for an intermediate rider, but the banana smoothie will perform better all-mountain. I have the GNU park pickle for park riding and love it. It's pretty similar to the XOXO. I'd go with the banana smoothie tho, I like the feel of camber/rocker hybrids a lot

My first post and love the responsiveness of users on this forum. Going to stick with the Smoothie and the Lexa (in Purple) - sick combo. Thanks everyone for your comments!!

Banana Smoothie because the EC2 (and C2) profiles are much better than standard BTX, which the XOXO has. The asym Pickle tech is nice, but not worth getting a fully rockered profile imo.
