Burton stance width range
Looking at Burton boards and when trying to find out the stance width range, all I see is their "stance width" measurement which is what they say is the distance between their reference marks.
Is there anywhere or anyone that has documented the stance width ranges for their ICS boards? Or even, usually how much wider and narrower the channel allows from their stance width measurement?
I could go measure, but I'm going to say: LOTS
I'm willing to bet the range is something like 17-26" stance width...
Most importantly: why do you care??
No need to measure, but the size of each "channel" is roughly 1ft, maybe 10". So if reference is at the center, you'll get a range of: reference +/- 10" (5" to each side).
Think about it... if reference is 20".... is your stance likely to be as wide as 30" or narrow as 10"?
Nope. You're likely near reference, so don't worry.
Edit: lol hadn't read poutanen's post. So yeah, what he said.
