Is this fixable? large chip on tail

So along with my season ending fall, broken collarbone, wrist and bruised hip; the tail of my 2012 K2 Parkstar got a massive chip in the tail, with the topsheet peeled back an inch and a half? or so

Is this fixable? I was thinking 2-part epoxy and clamp it back in place. Alternatively i have some of this Super-X Series | Products| CEMEDINE. Or is Epoxy the best glue for the job?

Easy fix.
24hr epoxy and clamp it down. Put tape down to protect the rest of the top sheet. Put the epoxy in, put some baking paper over the top of it all and clamp a bit of scrap wood over the area

then a little black nail polish over the crack to help hide it. Your good to go !!

Awesome! Thanks guys. I actually have some 10 minute epoxy, but I think I better find some stronger/longer curing one to be safe.

ETM, what do you mean about putting tape down? If you mean scratches I am not so worried, this board gets munched in the lift lines, the tail is a mess already!

Tape is to keep the epoxy that squeezes out off your top sheet.

I understand the epoxy and clamp down bit.

But how do you replace the lost substance of the top sheet?

Its not lost its just peeled back

Yep, peeled back like a banana.
Finding wood to clamp it down was harder than expected. Dish rack missing a few spokes now lol.

Is that the Tokyo sky tree off the nose of your board?
