Board repair

So I got a board but the lamination on the bottom is peeling off and the metal on the edge is peeling off (I forget what its called). Could I fix it or do I need to take it to a shop or is it useless?

Also, is it new and still possibly under warranty? Or is it an old beater board from craigslist? Is it an expensive board, or a low-end POS?

"Hi, I have some stuff and it's not working. How do I fix it?"

I used to use 5 minute epoxy on boards and hold them together w/ C clamps from home depot while they were drying. I never had anyone come back complaining saying it came apart again.

Did you rip an edge out? I don't care how good the tech is that is doing the job, if you ripped the edge out the board will never ride on that edge the same again.. So at that point you have to decide if your going to spend money for a new board, or a not so cheap fix. It's just flat out almost impossible to get a new edge into a board and make it ride the way it did before. You'll feel it, especially if your board has a lot of tunes on it and any part of the new edge is higher than the old edge.

Also if you do edge replacement, don't act shocked when it ripps out of the board the next time you have it stone ground. I've seen that happen quite a few times.
