Burton Cartels or Union Force? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys.

I have a DC HKD 156 currently and was just wondering if I should get some Burton Cartels or Union Force to go with it?

I don't know that much about either of these 2 bindings.

Dunno much about the Unions, but I was big time disappointed with Cartels, and now they're for sale. I'd have to say anything but Cartels.

Forces for sure. My old Carels broke all the time.

haha.. I just finished writing my little 2 cents about the Cartels and the Unions on this other guy's thread. But simply put, I'd choose the Forces. They're both $200 bindings but I can't see what is so two hundred dollar about the Cartels. I've had my 07-08 Cartels for about 15+ rides and it's been great. Great response and the toe strap is perfect. But I just got my order of Union Data's (pretty much the leathered out version of the Forces) and when I put it on it just feels more comfortable and much more higher quality. More comfortable because it doesn't have that ridiculous forward lean that all Burtons seem to come with. You can adjust the forward lean on the Forces to be straight up or angled. Unions seem great. I haven't used it but the Unions are definitely more higher quality than the cartels.

Looked up those Unions... Damn. Too bad my Ride Beta's may never break, because i'd be down (demo first) with a set of those for sure!
