K2 Raygun Reviews
Hey Guys,

Looking at picking up a K2 Raygun 161 for $250 brand new.

It gets good reviews online and won Good Wood 2014 award.

Just looking for anyone that has experienced the board and can give me some feedback. Want something that is going to last a few seasons and I progress into intermediate.

Just bought a 2013 Raygun this season and ride a few times before season ends. Most of the days I ride it were powder day.

It's a great board. Easy turning. VERY VERY forgiven. I can practice my carve or overall skills hard and not worrying to fall a lot.
The front rocker makes it float on the powder pretty well also.

Try to look for a 13' one cause I've ask around and the only difference between 13' and 14' are the graphic but the price is lower. I got mine for $220.

2014 K2 Raygun Snowboard Used and Reviewed «

I bought one this year and love it. I actually bought 2. I used the 161 in Colorado this spring on a few fresh powder days and rode the 156 on a bunch of shitty Indiana days. I don't feel like I'm good enough to explain all the nuances like BA does, but I did like how the boards performed.

Thanks for the help guys, I've been looking for the 2013 board but can't find it anywhere in Canada...might just have to purchase the 2014.

I have a 150cm 2014Raygun
It is awesome!
easy to turn with.
I'm still learning and I bought a raygun and had the chance to take it out.
It was only my third time snowboarding, the previous two times I used rentals. On me second time(with a rental board) I was trying to learn toe-side stopping a little, but I was a scared to catch a heel edge and fall so I did not try it much. However, on my third time (using the raygun)I was gaining some speed and went for a toe-side stop and bam! easy!
