Old Bindings on a New Board - Snowboarding Forum

Hey fellows, new to this site so bear with me.

I have a 1998 Burton Custom 164, and I was wondering if I would be able to mount new bindings to such an old board? I've been looking at the Union Bindings.

I've been out of the game for about 7years now, but since I've moved 40 miles from Steamboat to Craig, CO I figure I'll jump right back in.

yes, you most likly can, but you might as well get a new board as it will be a million times beter.plus the sales now are redic!!!

yeah I think your better off shopping around. Dogfunk and those sites do have some deals, brocitey as well.

Also, maybe look into some "used" gear, gurranteed you can get a legit setup for less than the price of brand new Union's with the right amount of searching/planning. Ebay is recommended

I'm not against spending some money. I figure 600-800 for a new set up.

It's just that my Custom 164 only has 6 rides on it, I hate to get rid of a good board when all I really need is new bindings and boots.

I just don't want to spend 200 on Union Force SL's and find out they won't fit

dude, youd be beter off buying a new board, for 800, now you could get an all new bombin set up.just get a new setup.new custom for 250.

my nuddy just got an $1000 setup for less than $500... got a $600 LIB for $200, and $150 pair of boots for $89, his $200 bindings for $120.

buy it now while there is still some 09 stuff in stock!!!
