hey
i advised a friend of mine a rome anthem (there really cheap in holland ). he likes bomming down the hill, maybe a few jumps but not alot. hes 165 lbs and cause hes mainly freeriding i advised him a 156-158. butthe guy in the shop and his GF(whos has been snowboarding for 25 years) keeps saying a 153. issnt that way to small ??? or is it just me |

At 165 I think a 153 would be good for an Anthem. I'm 180 and my Anthem is a 158. Unless he's looking to use it for a powder board, then he should probably go longer.

Would say the 156 or 158. Usually a 158 have a max weight about 180lbs-190lbs depending on the manufacturer. At 165lbs if he want to butter would go with the 156. For reference I am at 180 lbs and ride a 156 Capita BDI and a 157 Atomic cold smoke. My next board will be the NS Heritage at 158.
