automaton snowboards.

Thinking of getting one. However its a 158. I'm 5"10 and weigh about 165. Is this too oong for me seeing as though im more into freestyle and the boards are said to ride longer? Its a nested death if that helps.

Yeah, that sounds a bit on the big side. You can get away with it if you REALLY want though...

i read some gd stf bout these boards so i ended up gettin it. the fact that it was a bargain also played its part.

reviving this from the dead because I too have found what seems like an amazing deal but I've never heard of Automaton... So, I need some reviews on the quickness.

Found out they're an Elan board. So... yeah, Omatic, Capita, Rome, and some others.

Omatic was never made at Elan and is out of business. Automaton has been around for 9 years now I think is what Brenton told me the last time we hung out. They're slightly cambered twin park sticks with a little bit wider profile.
