Charlie Slasher Size

It's about size question for Capita Charlie Slasher.

I'm 170lbs, and wear US10.5 size boots.

What's the good size for me? 161?

My current park and freestyle boards are 154 and 157.

Also how does it ride on groomers?

161 should be fine...maybe 164 in deep j-pow, I'm 180# and use a 164 and its unsinkable for b-pow. I will say that ime cs is for big open riding...more than deep tree riding. It rides fine on groomers due to the cam tail.

I'll see what's available first then probably go for 161. I've never ridden anything over 160 before lol.

What bindings are you using on your Charlie Slasher?

I got a pair of Malavitas and a pair of 390 Boss. I'm thinking of pairing the Charlie Slasher with 390 Boss, or would I need more specific bindings? Sorry it's become a bindings question now.

161 would be perfect.

Either of those bindings would work fine on it. I use either Now IPOs or Burton Triads (older binding that was basically an upgraded Cartel) on my 164 CS.

I had the 58 & the 61 last year

Way, way too similar to your everyday board

Maybe, if I had gotten the 64? I might still have it.

You got about 5lbs on me, I def go with the 64.

You will be just fine on it, it won't feel huge.

It'll just float better.

If whatever doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.

Then I am so close to immortality

i cannot give any advice on the CS itself, but i can tell you that, having always ridden a 159 board the first time out with my 168 volkl selecta i was a bit afraid.

but i was WRONG.

from now on, when picking a pow board i will always go bigger rather than not.

161 seems like a solid choice!

Hows the Yes PYL BFBF? Nice change from the Ventures? Finding float factor a little different?
