Need help to decide on first board purchase

I'm buying my first snowboard and am stuck between two picks.

The first:

Capita Totally fkn awesome 153cm
Totally Fk'n Awesome! | CAPiTA Snowboarding

The second:

Ride Crook Snowboard 149cm
Crook Snowboard | Men's All Mountain Freestyle Snowboards | Ride Snowboards 2013-2014

I have done a bit of research on both and found they are pretty good all round boards, which is what I was looking for as I will mainly will be doing all mountain riding. The main difference between the two is their stiffness. The Capita was rated a 7 and the Crook a 3.

I have read that for beginners it is recommended to go for a softer option. I have been boarding once for 2 weeks before and by the 7-8 day I was very comfortable and having a bunch of fun.

So I cant make the decision between the two boards, I do like the first one but I'm worried it will be too stiff and I may not enjoy it..? The second one is a good option (and price) for a much softer board, but will I really notice the difference between the two once I'm out there?

They're 2 totally different boards the capita is a stiff all mountain board with a camber rocker camber profile and set back stance, the ride is more a jib board with a rocker flat rocker profile and centered stance.
The ride will be the easier board to ride out of the two but they're both built for different styles of riding.

i'd recommend the Crook, seeing as you're still experimenting over the mountain. learning on a soft board makes for a stronger rider as you have to tweak and refine on your technique to make your board hold an edge. If you go with the stiffer flex, you'll notice more response but less forgiveness whilst you're still learning. good luck mang

If I had to pick between the two boards, I would pick the Capita Totally F'kn awesome board because you wanted an all mountain board.

While having a softer board may help you learn quicker but you will quickly grow out of that phase.
