rack locks frozen

Went boarding yesterday and when we got to the hill I go to open up the racks.

cant even get the key inside of the lock.



do yall have any ways of getting a frozen lock unfrozen?



*finally got the front rack open and pulled the boards out*

Your best bets to
A) Breath on it for awhile to warm it up and melt the ice out
B) Get some warm water to pour on it
C) Not sure if this would work or not honestly, or if its even safe so take it for what its worth..but could you squirt out some de-icing windshield wiper fluid and pour it around/inside the lock?

They sell lock deicer at automotive stores. Probably a good investment if this happens on a regular basis
