will there be a huge difference from a 156 and 158?

i am an intermediate rider but have recently looked into buying my own board. im 5'9 at 160 lbs and most of the calcs say i should ride a 158 with smoe saying a 155. i bought a 156 but the 2cm difference...will it be huge from a 158 as far as performance goes? just want your thoughts

thanks

they make diffent sizes like that for weight distribution and for riders of different heights
and the shorter board would be slightly more manuvereable im sure Snowolf would have a better explanation than me

i had a 155 and just upped it to a 158 on my new board. i'm 160, 5'10". i just went longer for more stability when riding fast and make it a little easier to float on powder. both sizes are fine i think. rode the 155 for a while. never thought it was too short.

Meh, I went straight from a 152.5 to a 161.5 and didn't skip a beat. You'll be fine.

Does weight matter more than height when choosing a board size. I'm 230lbs and ride a 164, sometimes I wish I could get away with a little shorter board.

Do you think I would notice any difference in a 161?
