I'm a freestyle rider and I was wondering what board you would choose between the two based on your opinions about their pros and cons. Especially if you've actually ridden them before.

i like my extreme alot, its a perfect board for me because its really good at both jumps and jibs. plus it can still go fast.

well its not a free ride board, but its also not like taking a rome artifact down a hill. i ride a 152 and i weigh 170 so its a strict park deck for me but i had no problems taking it as fast as i could go, it never got chattery or squirely.
im about a 75% park, 25% mt. if you are looking at this board as 100% freeride then look elsewhere.

I just picked up an Omatic Awesome and its a great board IMO. Im basically an all mountain rider myself, and I just wanted something that wasnt super stiff but could still handle anything on the mountain and the Awesome fits the bill perfectly.
From what I hear, its also a good board for Parks. I cant say anything about parks yet.... |
