Question When do your slopes open?

Just wondering when (on average) all of your guys' (and gals') slopes open every year...

where's the option for "when hell freezes over"? cuz that'd be when the ones around here do.

or actually, that'd just be when they actually get any kind of natty snowfall.

Early December usually. They're hoping for late November this year though

typical east coast response... early december at best. I remember when things used to be open by Thanksgiving around here, but that hasn't happened in at least 4yrs

well i put late november, cuz i coulda sworn i've been to snowshoe around that time. but my short term memory ability may have chosen to blanket the specifics of such things.

the "ski-trio" opens early december, if i'm not mistaken. except for the days they had to close due to unseasonable temps. i don't think our season really even started around here till mid-january last year though! it sucked

Whistler, Grouse, and Cypress are all expecting to open late November... I'm sure the other local mountains (Big White and Silver Star) are too.
