Ive done aggro blading for years. I have been using the same Pro-tec helmet since I started, it has been through some rough times but its just cosmetic, the functionality is all there. Well i got to looking at it today and realized its actually a snow helmet!! It says "Snow Ace HP" inside and i tried to look this up all over the net but wouldn't find anything...
now.. it has snaps over the ears where I guess ear pads go for snow, can i buy these separate so i can use this for boarding, to avoid buying another helmet? and are all the pro-tec ones pretty much universal? let me know! I ordered a nice helmet cam today and don't want to drop more on a helmet. |

Did your helmet come with earpads? If it does I think you can just slip them on and off. I don't think you can buy them separately. But I guess It's always safer to have a snowboard specific helmet. I think each model series/year has its own earpad design, but I'm not sure.

yeah I dunno, I dont remember if I came with ear pads or not, it was about 6 years ago or so...It has snaps where the chinstrap attaches to the helmet, so it has to be compatible with SOME kind of pads... I need to call pro-tec and maybe they can tell me..
