My son just won a snowboard with no manufacture listed.
It is primarily navy blue with orange/red graphics of ESPN Winter X Games Ten on the board. If someone could tell me if this board is a collector board or just a good board for everyday use. Just curious prior to mounting bindings and telling him to go use it. Is it poor or good quality? Thanks to anyone who may be able to help. |

I would say it is just a promo board like alot of the beer and soft drink companies put out. Rideable but nothing to write home about.

Why don't you contact the governing body of the X games and ask them if they have any info regarding manufacturer, and type of board?? might be worth the effort as the board my be a pretty good quality stick. Or, take it to a local shoppe and they should be able to tell about the construction of the board.. ie. type of base material, twin tip or directional etc. Good luck.

That is fair. We are skiers and he has wanted to make the move to snowboarding, I did not want to handicap
his learning with a poor handling board. I will take it to a top snowboard shop. I just thought if it was intended for collectors display, I would have him hang it on the wall and just buy him one for his size and skill level. Thanks Again to anyone who responds. If it would help I can photograph it. |
