This is my first season boarding and I see that alot of people are looking for new boards. Does this happen every year? Is snowboarding one of those "In Style" kind of things, like your not "cool" unless you have the newest gear?? And do boards change alot from year to year, cause i see the whole Cambered Vs Reverse Cambered Vs Whatever...
![]() Just wondering how often do you change you board?? |

About every 20 days I have a new board to ride. Why? Because I'm blessed.

I just picked up my own gear this year. Was a renter and made the commitment. Bought a second hand Salomon 159 board with Burton Freestyle bindings. Its a racing board and real stiff. Rode that 5 times this year and Now I have a new 09 Forum Grudge with new 09 Freestyle bindings.
I am addicted. Seems alot like my Golf Club addiction

i still have my first board as its really good for pow and a larger board. I got a Deuce this season and beat the shit out of it in the park and all around the mountain, so I picked up a Riff today.
Depends on what you do. I can see a Fish lasting for years.
