Freestyle board advice

I am coming back to boarding after a ten year hiatus (due to related injury) and things have changed- a lot.
All I had ever ridden were stiffer cambered boards. I made it out 10-15 times this season on a hybrid Rossi but find its still too stiff to do the things I want to do. I love speed and laying down a carve but am looking to progress my freestyle skills in and (mostly) out of the park.
I'm interested in something I can butter. I can "press" a stiff cambered board just fine for jumps/spins etc. but its not at all the same as pressing a park board and buttering if you know what I mean.
Jibs and rails etc. may come this season too I think.

Available summer deals in my price range:
Bataleon Evil Twin Wide
Rome Artifact Rocker Wide
Rome Tour Wide

I've read everything available and am leaning toward the Evil Twin.
Main concern is that since flex is relative will the Evil Twin be soft enough for me to butter the way I want?
Safe bet for flex would be the Artifact, but I don't want to go overkill and not be able to ride anything but park speed.
I know these boards don't really compare well but any opinions or testimonials on relative flex would be great!

the Evil Twin and Tour are TBT boards (NoHang-Ups is very similar to TBT), which are hit/miss, love/hate depending on the person. personally I like it, but I wouldn't suggest spending big bucks on it before trying it out. you might find it a too loose. so just based on that, out of the three I would go with the Artifact. but all three boards are pretty much dedicated freestyle boards, so picking up speed might be awkward. if you're looking for something more versatile you can look at some of the softer flat-cambered boards, they do a bit of everything.

See I was worried about the Artifact being too loose b/c of jib pop combined with super flex.

Not to say that it doesn't happen but Ive never really had a problem with catching edges. I can see how the 3d profile would help with all flat tricks but Im more concerned about the flex- buttering a stiff board doesn't seem as rewarding (or look as cool) as getting back (or forward) on a softer flex.

Was hoping the Evil Twin would be a good combination of the soft flex necessary, traditional camber profile I'm used to, and TBT as a bonus. But then I read it surprised some by being stiffer than they imagined...
Was looking at the Tour as a flat soft board, and the No Hang Ups as a bonus.
The problem I'm having is that if I look into anything other than freestyle dedicated -flex becomes "midflex" ,which from what I have seen means stiffer than what I'm looking for.

The rome artifact rocker is super loose and in my opinion is overkill like you have stated. I have not rode the evil twin but every thing I have seen about it makes it sound stiffer then what you want. I bet you would like the rome artifact in the camber version. Its a little catchy at first but is really fun for buttering and jibbing. You should check out the rome shank as well it has no hang up edges on a basically flat deck so its perfect for buttering around.
