help me buy a setup for my girlfriend

Hey guys,
My girlfriend and I went snowboarding again this weekend and she has made a commitment and wants to buy a board. Its a good time since things are cheap. I've done some research and was hoping for some input...

Girlfriend:
5'1'
110lbs
Noob at snowboarding has gone 3 times

First off is 150 sized board too large for her?

and here are some things I've selected

Possible boards:
burton feelgood
burton troop
burton gtwin
palmer liberty

bindings:
burton p1

what do you guys think

any help would be awesome

150 is way too big. p1 bindings are mens, i think you should get her women's bindings since she is that tiny, they would be better built for her, with more flex and a lower more comfortable high back, and are made to fit small feet/women's boots. also, some of the boards you picked out are made to only be compatible with ICS bindings, so be careful about that.

agreed 150 is probably too big for her seeing she's a beginner. i'm your girlfriend's height and about 10lbs lighter, and i started off with a 143. probably a 143-147 board will be suitable.

you might also want to look into a board with a more forgiving flex. feelgood is pretty stiff...

yea, the boards you picked are high end boards, a board more suited towards a beginner/intermediate rider with more flex may be a better choice since it will be more forgiving.

wrong, you can use any burton bindings on channel boards.

op i'd get female bindings, esp considering her size.

Thank so much for all of your help guys.
if you had to pick either 143 or 147 which board would you choose?
So I did some more research and have come up with this.

Possible boards:
Rossignol Diva
Rossignol Harmony
GNU B REAL
GNU B NICe MTX

Bindings:
Rome Madison Women snowboard bindings
Saloman absolute pure snowboard bindings
Saloman relay elite

What do you guys think
out of the bunch I was thinking of going with:
GNU B REAL with the Rome Madison bindings

Thanks a lot
