Also in terms of bindings are Rome 390 Boss fully compatible with the HDX proto?

Heard so many good things about the proto and some many people seem to have it. So 155 HDX it is! It has a waist width of 261 so I'm hoping itll suffice for size 12's.
Dont do it man, enjoy your mantis stage lol. I was 6'3" and skinny as a string bean till I was about 20, one you get bigger you will never get back the flexibility and mobility that you have now.
Embrace the mantis ;-)

Yeah, I've got everything from a 156 to a 166 and sure I feel it, but it's not like either one is impossible to ride!

Curious what your stance width is being 6`3, and what's the smallest board you ride?

I have a mate that is about your size and rides a 168...straight line and snowplow is his game. I'd go the 158 if I were you. I assume youre young and therefore likely to put on a few kg's.
Where in aus are you? Plenty of board shops out there if you're around Melbourne and I'm sure Sydney and Canberra are the same

Some of my toys are as big as Summit 172, down to a Salvatore Sanchez 151.

You can ride pretty much any board anywhere, with a little adjustment.

Just remember, bigger is faster & more stable.

The shop I was going to buy the HDX sold the last one. So now I'm looking at getting the sabotage. I've also been looking at the time machine.

The time machine has better reviews but it doesn't have a wide version. It has a waist width of 249. If I get a low profile/footprint boot do you reckon I could get a decent fit? Do you guys recommend any good small footprint boots?

My stance width is 570mm , shortest board is a home made 152 split but its really stiff not like something you would buy off the shelf.
My longest boards are a fleet of home made 180 swallowtails and a 180 birdman.
