The Matchete Gt

Hey guys, i was wondering whats the setup for carving and i just been researching and been dead set on this so far. An all round mountain freestyle setup with the 2015 Ride Machete Gt - 1.54m one with XL Ride Rodeo Bindings. I have been renting for the past 4-5 times that i been snowboarding, i am about 5 ft 7 and weigh about 176lbs. Was wondering if this setup up is good enough for me. I have size 10.5 US foot size, i couldn't find much information on the machete Gt other than its a good board, i was looking for the negative aspects of the board.

It is a great all mountain board, fast and carves decently, nice on groomers, great for trees, not pathetic, even good in pow (provided it is not waist deep), great for big kickers.
On the negative side I would say not the best for icy terrain.
I am not sure if it is not too challenging for you, it is a more advanced board, but you went short which is good (I ride 157 with similar characteristics).
I have Maestros, great combo, I guess rodeos shouldn't be bad either
Enjoy it, it is a good choice

Being that you're just coming off of renting, you might wanna check out the regular Machete. It's still a great all mountain board but will definitely be a little more forgiving and easier to ride than the GT.
