Board edge

well i was checked my edges today making sure they were good and sharp and i noticed something. basically by the 4 corners of the board the edges are different. basically the edge is flat at the 4 corners thats about like 2 inches long or so. i dont know any other way to explain it but my question is has anyone else seen this? on my old board it doesnt have that. it rides well but im just wondering if it has any advantage or anything like that. thanks in advance

Sounds like your board was detuned on the spots that are used to turn. Is it a park board?

It was detuned. It makes it harder to catch edges.
