Youth vs Adults Snowboards - Snowboarding Forum

Hi!,

Has anyone ridden any youth boards before?
Initially i was looking to purchase the Gnu B-Street 145 but the closest board available is the Danny Kass Boys Youth 145. I am female, 159cm and weighing 48kg. Would it be okay for me to ride the Danny Kass even though its for boys? What are the performance difference between the two? What about its strength, durability etc.? and my main concern is that it may be flexier compared to the adult snowboards of the same flex rating. Overall do you think this work for an adult female?
